As we all recover from the freeze. We've had the past few days we have to wonder who is more right. Al Gore or the conspiracy theorists from the Internet. Both raise good points, but both are wacky In their own way. On one hand, you have to believe we as humans are destroying a planet that has survived for millions of years and has seen global change of hot to cold and back again over and over again without our aid, and survived. Or, if you look on the Internet you will see it is simply our government using chem trails and the harp system controlling whether for combat. The other idea floating around the Internet is just as funny and frightening at the same time. That's the one where the Chinese government is pumping millions of gallons of water out of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway, every day. This is probably the most dangerous one. If real, this could cause global freezing that has not been seen since the Ice Age. This is also the newest. So I will explained one little. Water flows from the Great Lakes, St. Lawrence Seaway and into the Atlantic. This water is cold. It meets with water from the Gulf Coast, flowing up the eastern seaboard of the Atlantic that is warm. This constant circular flow of water in the Atlantic Ocean, is what regulates temperature, on the northern hemisphere, and if disturbed, could cause a new Ice Age. Spooky stuff for a small winter storm. But fun to watch between episodes of extreme preper's and duck dynasty. I like the theory am going with you know, that's the one where this is just a winter storm and its fucken cold. What we should be more concerned with in this storm is ours and our neighbors, dogs and cats left out and chained up to become pet sickles frozen to the ground while we sip hot chocolate by the fire. Or how about the homeless guy we step over on our way into the coffee shop to pay $6.50 for a cuppa coffee as he sleeps on a steam grate to keep warm at night. I'm sure both those groups would love a little global warming right about now. Cold is cold and remember people this is January not June. It's not that I doubt that any one or all of these things could be related, or the cause of any part of this. But how about we tried being realistic in all this, and instead of posting to pictures about bring your motorcycle and in the cold. We tried bringing our pets and people in from the cold. Have you checked on those that you know have no heat? I'm sure I'm not the only one that knows at least one person that has no heat. Let's face it the economy sucks and people can afford some things. I spoke. Mother nature. This morning. She promised me that things will be back to normal in just two days and it will be 50°, so she has this. As we seek to put blame on everything and everybody. We need to remember a more human side, of what we do for each other and others around us. Look out for your fellow man. It's fun to blame everybody but let's do some good While we knew what we do. Just my thoughts for what they're worth. Take them or leave them It's all good.
