With the West Coast glowing from Fukushima fall out I am reminded of a story I read a while back . Its a two part crazy conspiracy theory that might be me talking out my ass and time will tell . The second part involves what we loose as the pacific becomes unfit as a food source for millions . Where do we get our Salmon and other west coast treats we love so much ? What on earth will the local sushi bar replace the fish on my spring roll with ? Grilled gold fish any one I hear its not bad . We need a quick way to keep us in fresh eats from the sea . Hipsters everywhere demand salmon pacific or fresh water don't matter . We might just have found a way to solve a few problems all at once so please don't blink .My family comes from the small town of Logan West Virginia smack dab in the middle of our new environmental disaster . For years the water and the lad down there have been destroyed by the coal industry . No one minded as that is what you do for a living if you live there . Its hard to tell people you no longer have a job some one living in Illinois thinks you are killing the planet so we are shutting the mines down . Environmentalist have fought for years to do just that and have failed with no other practical solution to solve our dependence on energy created by the coal . We have all heard the argument for solar, and wind turbine technology and that's great and just might work , but coal is still needed till those are built . As a result of lobbyist have been successful at placing some crazy restrictions on the industry . One of witch is is the cleaning of coal with a chemical solution for transport . Last week a company that sells this coal cleanser had a tank rupture and leak into the river conveniently located next to the tank. Never mind the fact that washing coal to burn it just sounds stupid to a guy who at one time heated his house with fresh dug from the hill and put in a bucket dirty coal . I guess if it makes some guy who has never lived there think he did his part to keep the state wild and wonderful thats great . As we have all seen the past few days this stuff is toxic . people can no longer use tap water in the area effected by the spill for for anything but flushing the toilet .
Congrats to those guys some people down home have only had running water for 20 years now so they cant miss it to bad. So this is where it sets with the streams and rivers now polluted next the wells will be unfit to drink from as well . Thats how they did it in southern Ohio so now in the Liberty twp. area north of Jackson Ohio Everyone has a water bill . This is what the states want if water is a utility then it belongs to them and you owe for your use of it . So after the state moves to remove the rights of property owners and forces all to utility controlled water the rivers will still need to be cleaned up. A Reservoir will also need to be built to retain water in a larger scale . This is part of a bigger plan you might now be seeing in your mind . In the big scam this will work as some people will be told that water is unsafe to drink and will be for years to come so thats the land grab. Get ready this is where this gets real and dark quick, and the people get the shaft .Our federal government will quickly rush in with programs and fake money to clean all rivers and streams in the effected area . Jobs by the thousands will prove that even the economy is rebounding . Conveniently this all is about to happen as we ramp up for the run to the white house in 2016 . By the way if you don't know this was planed years ago not the spill but the clean up. This is going to cost close to a billion dollars before it is completed .
It was the plans of Robert Byrd a man that neverlet one bill pass his desk without first asking "Whats in it for the people of West Virginia ?" The state and its people know the work this man did to improve the state and the lives of those that call it home . One thing he had always wanted was to turn the state into the best place in the world for fishing . This never happened The budget would never allow the mass clean up that would be required to fix generations of damage from the coal the fed the states economy . Plus his loyalty to the coal industry prevented him from ever forcing any legislation that would force big energy to chip in. Environmentalist gave him hell for this but could never produce a practical solution to energy, or jobs that would be lost in the state with out the coal industry . His work on the states roads and inter-structure is still ongoing and amazes me every time I go back home . Now thanks to a chemical spill his last wish might just become reality . I personally am glad to see the clean up coming . Nothing would please me more then to be able to retire along some stream freshly stalked and cleaned up in the hills . And frankly the thought of eating pacific salmon after the spill is just not an option . So we damage the land of a bunch of back woods hicks this is like it or not the way our white house is thinking these days. If I am correct this will create tons of new jobs and industry the state of West Virginia has never dreamed possible . I just wish we would not have needed to spill toxic chemicals into the rivers to do it . Just my thoughts now lets all watch the news and see what happens
